The National Conference on Article 370, themed upon the journey of article 370 from its genesis to its terminus was held on 24th January, 2020. The event attracted nationwide participation with a total of 61 participant registrations. A total of 36 presentations and 48 participants marked their presence to facilitate fruitful discussion on the topic via projection of their respective ideas based upon the theme
The conference inaugural ceremony had Dr. Viney Kapoor Mehra, the Vice Chancellor of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat as the Chief Guest. Dr Viney started her lecture posing some questions to Prof Dr Afzal Wani who spoke before her with his speech focusing on the concept of liberty. She further spoke about a part of history where the Kashmiris were alleging that they are forcefully converted to Islam. She spoke about the period before 1947 in Kashmir. The book containing the selected articles published as a part of the conference proceedings was then released. An hour-long inaugural session concluded on a positive note with the students in the audience getting a balanced intellectual input from both viewpoints.

Intensive rumination on news brings scholars together at DME

DME Media School organized ICAN 2018 (India and Changing Aspects of News), a three-day International Conference from 9–11 March, 2018.The objective of the conference was to deliberate and come to vital conclusions with effective academic research done by scholars and academicians from across the globe.
An inaugural video address was delivered by octogenarian journalist, Mr. Mark Tully. It was followed by a Photography Exhibition which showcased pictures clicked by the students on various topics. There were 5 technical sessions and 1 plenary session. The topic of the plenary session being ‘Reinterpreting News and Ethics’ which saw the panelists discussing important issues and sharing valuable insights about the role of ethics in journalism. The panel consisted of Senior Professor Pradeep Mathur, Professor Ram Mohan Pathak, Dr. Avinash Singh and Dr. Sukhnandan Singh. The day came to an end with the screening of a short film named ‘Azaad’ directed by Rahul V. Chittella.
On Day 2 Seven technical sessions and a plenary session themed ‘Redefining Media’s Role in Development’ chaired by Dr. Nirmala Mani Adhikary , Professor Shivaji Sarkar , Dr. Namrata Joshi and Dr. Ambrish Saxena was conducted. The day ended with great fervor with a sitar recital performance by Pt. Sunil Kant Saxena, Kathak performance by Smt. Parul Mishra and other performances by the students of DME.

An international conference on Indian Cinema and Alternative Networks- ICAN2 2018 organized by Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME) Media School en masse with School of Communication and Creative Arts of Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia was inaugurated on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Silver Oak Lawn, Indian Habitat Centre, Delhi.
The conference was graced with the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Satya Pal Singh, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Government of India and Special Guest Mr.Vivek Vaswani, a celebrated Film Actor, Producer, and Director.
The second edition of ICAN- Indian Cinema and Alternate Network which started on the 17th of November continued for three days and concluded on the 18th of November. The conference was a success with all the technical sessions, plenary sessions,workshops and cultural events.

1. DME’s National Conference on Global Economic Development and Environmental Issues
On 3rd February 2018, the Department of BBA organized a National Conference to deliberate on business practices for attaining ‘Global Economic Development’ and confronting ‘Environmental Issues’. It provided a platform for students, academicians, professionals and industry experts to present their inventive solutions, research and insights, and engage in active communication on the same. This National Conference was divided into 3 different sessions. (1) Inaugural Session, (2) Technical Session (divided in 3 different venues), (3) Valedictory Session. Dr. Tejinder Singh was invited as the Chief Guest to grace the occasion and enlighten the students with his influential and inspiring words. He gave a speech by addressing the students/participants as ‘Young India’. He also spoke about the beauty of Sanchi which is in Bhopal, comparing it to the situation at present. The Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session was Prof. (Dr.) C.P. Kaushik, who discussed the changes in environmental trends from the 1950s to 1980s and also compared it with the present scenario. The conference saw tremendous participation, with over 30 papers presented across the three panels of paper presentations. We look forward to another round of deliberation with our colleagues, guests and students next year.

DME’s National Conference “Mergers & Acquisitions: Legal & Managerial Review”, organized by DME Management School and DME Law School jointly on 27th April 2019, started with a warm welcome of the guests and dignitaries. After the seating of the guests, the dignitaries were invited for Saraswati Vandana and lamp lighting to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
The event was graced by the presence of Shri Dhanendra Kumar IAS, Former Chairman, CCI, as the Chief Guest, Shri Pramod Kumar Singh, Secretary, CCI, as the Guest of Honour, Hon’ble Mr.Justice Bhanwar Singh, Director General, DME, Mr.Aman Sahni, Vice Chairman, DME, Prof. Dr.Ravi Kant Swami, Director, DME and Prof. P.N Parashar, Former Member, CCI & Professor, DME Law School. The guests and dignitaries were welcomed with the utmost respect and honor among the participants and students.

The 1st Global Strategic Management Conference [GSMC 2020] aims at discussing the upcoming trend of remote working in the wake of the COVID crisis. It was organised from 21st – 28th November 2020. The pandemic has shattered the economies and businesses all across the world. However, in the midst of this crisis, there is an emergence of a transformational trend of Remote Working. Globally, the conventional office setups have been replaced by home workstations. During these crisis times, where social distancing is the new world order, remote working seems to be the only panacea. At the same time, the new form of working has innumerable benefits for the organizations namely cost-saving and sustainability among others.
The transformational trend presents umpteen opportunities and challenges for both employers and employees. GSMC 2020 is a platform to provide an opportunity to the participants to understand diverse viewpoints and perspectives on remote working from several parts of the world GSMC 2020 has invited ten Professors from seven different countries namely – Belgium, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Spain, USA, Israel, India, and Sri Lanka. The Conference aims at blending the cross-cultural thoughts and experiences of the esteemed academicians and participants. The Inaugural Ceremony on Day One shall be dedicated to distinguished guests and esteemed corporates. The following days of the Conference shall comprise of the master class and paper presentations by participants on the sub-themes. Each day, the session would be chaired by an esteemed International Professor.
4. National Conference 2020 on Exploring Spiritual Foundations of Leadership And Management

On 14th and 15th February 2020, the DME Management School organized a National Conference on the theme of Exploring Spiritual Foundations of Leadership and Management. Strength of spirituality has been depicted in the verses of the mighty texts which give powerful and meaningful management tactics to achieve mental equilibrium and come out of any crisis. The Conference received contributions from various renowned Universities like University of Delhi (DU), Ambedkar University (Delhi), GGSIP University (New Delhi), Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (Lucknow), Rajasthan Technical University(Kota, Rajasthan), Department of Management Studies, SBBS University (Jalandhar, Punjab),Sharda University( Greater Noida) and many more across the length and breadth of India. The research papers encompassed relevant themes and sub themes of the Conference revolving around spirituality at workplace, moral behavior, ethics, spirituality and marketing, Indian ethos and leadership.
A total of 48 abstracts, out of which 35 complete papers were received. Selected 33 papers were published in a UGC CARE Journal and peer-reviewed open access journal Our Heritage with ISSN 0474-9030. Along with paper presentations, Conference witnessed the presence and knowledge sharing of esteemed guests, panelists, subject experts who created a plethora of good vibes and wisdom amongst the participants. The management students of all the three years along with interested participants from Media and Law school participated enthusiastically in the conference.
